J. Riley Roofing and Gutters was built the right way — through hands-on experience, family values, and a commitment to doing honest work for homeowners.
Owner Jason began his career in construction working for his father’s company, learning the business from the ground up. In 2008, Jason started his own company, bringing with him years of real-world experience across residential construction.
Over the years, Jason worked in nearly every area of residential construction — including flooring, interior renovations, and exterior work. While every trade offered valuable experience, roofing stood out as where skill, precision, and trust mattered most. That focus led him to specialize in residential roofing, and later expand services to include gutters.
In 2018, Jason’s father officially joined the company, bringing decades of experience from his own business in East Texas. After years of commuting, they made the decision to focus fully on growing a local, family-run roofing company built on integrity and quality workmanship.

He showed genuine care and concern for meeting every need and giving a fair price. One of my concerns was the protection of our flower beds and hedges and he provided so much protection during the tear off and installation process that nothing was harmed at all. Not often do you see the owner of the company stay for the entirety of the job but Jason was on site overseeing and helping and was the last to leave. The crew were respectful and took pride in their work with attention to detail and the clean up was immaculate.
